What it is
A building's exterior is a system, not a series of separate trades. The substrate, the render, the coating and the sealants all have to be compatible and detailed to work together, and most of the exterior failures we get called to look at start at a junction where one trade's work met another's and nobody owned the detail.
Taking the whole envelope as one package removes that. One team specifies the substrate preparation, the coating system and the sealants together, and one team is accountable for how the finished building performs.
Why it's worth it
No gaps between trades and no arguments about whose junction failed.
Substrate, render, coating and sealant selected to work together as a system rather than assembled by chance.
Render, texture, cladding and paint colours resolved as one scheme across the whole building.
One mobilisation, one scaffold, one crew — which is faster and usually cheaper than sequencing separate trades.
Where materials meet is where water gets in, and it's where a single-team package pays for itself.
The envelope treated as the weatherproofing system it actually is, sealants and flashings included.
Our process
We assess every elevation, the substrates, the exposure and the existing condition as one connected system.
Materials, coatings, colours and sealants are specified together for compatibility, and set out in a written scope.
Substrate work, then render or cladding, then coatings — sequenced so each stage is right before the next covers it.
All junctions, penetrations and control joints sealed and detailed, then the whole envelope inspected elevation by elevation.
Who it's for
Good to know
Whatever the envelope needs — substrate repair or installation, render or texture, cladding, sealants and flashings, and the exterior paint system. We scope it against your building specifically and set out exactly what's in and what isn't.
